finally also this pottfiction camp is going to an end and so our kitchen got a standing ovation on the last evening, we did again

we have topped ourselfs again, rice with shortly roasted vegetables, a curry+soya and a peanut sauce and ofcourse different salads...

we are halfway Pottfiction yet, the food is as always getting better every day, slowly we learn to know the gear we are working with...

FREIZEIT: Solardusche für die Ökotouristen
Idealisten wollen ökologischen Campingplatz bei Wiesenburg aufbauen

WIESENBURG - Die Idee ist ungewöhnlich, vielleicht sogar ein bisschen verrückt. Auf den Wiesen und Brachflächen zwischen Wiesenburger Bahnhof, ehemaliger Tankstelle und Landschaftspark soll im August 2010 das internationale Ecotopia-Festival stattfinden. Seit 1986 versammelt es vor allem junge Umwelt- und Naturaktivisten aus der ganzen Welt. In diesem Jahr wurden die langjährigen Initiatoren müde und das Festival blieb aus.

In den Augen des Niederländers Wam Kat aus Belzig und der Schmerwitzerin Dorothee Bornath ist das eine Chance. Sie hoben den fallengelassenen Staffelstab auf und pflanzten ihn als Wegmarke in den Flämingboden. Ihr neues „Ecotopia“ soll nicht nur mehrgenerationen- und familientauglich sein, sondern zugleich einen touristischen Entwicklungsschub für die Region leisten.

Um die Festivalteilnehmer entsprechend umweltverträglich unterzubringen, entwarfen sie das Konzept eines ökologischen Campingplatzes mit Solarduschen, Komposttoiletten, Mülltrennung und mobiler Küche für etwa 600 Personen, getrennt nach Zelten und Wohnwagen.

Das Konzept der beiden Initiatoren geht jedoch weit über das einmalige Ereignis hinaus. Mit Blick auf den Deutschen Wandertag 2012 haben sie für das insgesamt zwei Hektar große Gemeindegelände eine Idee für ein kleines, aber feines Tourismuszentrum entwickelt. Dazu gehört nicht nur der dann fest installierte ökologische Campingplatz. Auch ein Badesee, ein Empfangszentrum im Bahnhofsgebäude samt Fahrradverleih, Werkstatt und Laden mit Fläming-Produkten, ein Kunstweg mit Skulpturen und ein „Öko-Erlebnispark“ sind geplant. In diesem könnten sich mittlerweile zahlreich angesiedelte ökologische Baufirmen mit Modellhäusern in Lehm- und Strohballenbauweise, mit Pflanzenkläranlagen und anderen nachhaltigen Bau- und Wohnkonzepten präsentieren. Als dritte Ausbaustufe schlagen Wam Kat und Dorothee Bornath eine ökologische 3-Generationen-Mustersiedlung als Dauernutzung vor.

Die Wiesenburger Gemeindevertreter ließen sich zumindest so weit vom Enthusiasmus der Initiatoren anstecken, dass sie Bürgermeisterin Barbara Klembt (Die Linke) dazu ermächtigten, einen Nutzungsvertrag für das Areal für ein Jahr abzuschließen. Das „Ecotopia“-Festival wird so zum Testlauf. „Geht es schief, dann bleibt nicht viel mehr als niedergetretenes Gras übrig“, sagt Barbara Klembt pragmatisch. „Geht es gut, könnten wir uns die langfristige Einrichtung eines ökologischen Campingplatzes durchaus vorstellen.“ Immerhin gebe es im Fläming nur einen Zeltplatz in Rädigke. Die weiterführenden Pläne stimmen durchaus mit den Intentionen der Gemeinde Wiesenburg/Mark überein.

So wurde vor Jahren in einer agrarstrukturellen Nutzungsplanung auf dem besagten Gelände eine kleine Siedlung vorgesehen. „Damals dachte man zwar eher an eine Art lebendiges Museum, wo sich typische Flämingbaustile und Gewerke wiederfinden sollen, aber wir werden sehen“, sagte Barbara Klembt.

Die Finanzierung für 2010 wird komplett durch die Festivalinitiatoren getragen, für den zweistufigen Ausbau kalkulieren sie mit Fördergeld aus Strukturprogrammen zur ländlichen Entwicklung. (Von Kerstin Henseke)
